Since 2001, we have been going out-of-our way to make your job easier by providing you with the best, award winning and most enjoyable Meeting Meals experience. Plus, we are happy to be locally owned and managed. Get to know us, our staff and our drivers.

How does Meeting Meals from Creative Corporate Catering work?

How early can I tell you about my order, or how late can I let you know about a last minute meeting? How much ahead of time can I place my order? How close to my meeting can I place my order?
A.
Place your order anytime online. For live help, our Customer Experience Managers (CEM’s) are available via phone or live chat 7am – 6pm Monday – Thursday and until 4:30pm on Friday. Otherwise you can leave a message and we will promptly return your call the next business day.

If you know you have a meeting coming up, you can schedule it as early as you like, we plan ahead and will put in on our schedule as soon as we get it. Sure, we can accommodate same day orders but may not have all delivery times or restaurants options.

Do you really need to know what type of meeting the meal is for?
A.
Really we are not just being nosy. Our CEM’s are experienced at matching restaurants and dishes to your desired “meeting mood”. A client presentation?; A brainstorming session?; A monthly employee birthday celebration? Training? Each could have its own flavor to complement the meeting.

Does it really matter who will be at the meeting and what they like or don’t, if I am just ordering a variety of box lunches. Won’t that cover all my bases?
A.
Sorry, not to brag but we are truly meeting meal food specialists. Obsessed with all the details relating to eating needs, habits or restrictions. Imagine Bob or Jane feeling embarrassed and left out because they are afraid of lox and onions? -- we won’t judge, we just want to feed everyone just right!
Q.
How much do Meeting Meals from Creative Corporate Catering cost?
A.
  • Food, beverage costs, eating and serving utensils (if needed)
  • Delivery fee ($9.95 for the first 3 miles from the restaurant to the delivery address and $1.50 per additional mile)
  • “gratuity” is at your discretion. We suggest a 15% amount, but it can be anything you like.
  • Sales tax

How would you like to be paid?
A.
You can pay by corporate check, credit card or weekly invoicing through a Corporate Account.
Q.
Can I order from any of your restaurant partners?
A.
Yes. Yes. Yes. All of our restaurants are available to all of our customers. And, at reasonable cost.
Q.
Can I order from multiple restaurants?
A.
Definitely. You can order your meal from Buca and have Izzy Ice Cream treats for dessert. Just remember to account for the additional delivery fee from point A to B.

How will the restaurant know exactly what I need?
A.
We email or fax the order to the restaurant and confirm their receipt of the order.
Q.
Is it possible to send me a reminder of my upcoming order?
A.
Definitely, we call you a day ahead of time to remind you of your placed order, let you know if anything seems awry and will check with you on any last minute needs. You will also receive an email confirmation.

Why isn’t my favorite salad on their menu?
A.
If you don’t see one of your favorite restaurant dishes featured in our Meeting Meals menu it is only because our focus is working with our restaurant partners to provide the best ‘Meeting Meal’ menu. Some food might just not travel well or might not be meeting atmosphere appropriate. That said, if you believe your meeting is missing out on a flavor, cuisine, dish or restaurant let us know and we will do everything we can to add it!

Am I able to order individual items?
A.
Yes, you don’t have to follow the crowd. You can get food as individual as you. Just look for ‘Serves 1’ in our menus.
Q.
Do you serve breakfast too? What about happy hour? Our meetings often never end.
A.
Definitely. And that is why our restaurant offerings are so comprehensive that we are able to offer everything from Breakfast to Lunch to Dinner to Desserts to Anytime snacks.
Q.
Oh no, I need to change my order! Can I do that?
A.
Maybe. We ask that you let us know 24 hours in advance. However, if you notify us right away we will do everything we can to get what you need. If the restaurant has not already started preparing your order, they are often able to make the change. Rule of thumb: the sooner you let us know that you want to change your order, the more likely it is that we can get that order changed. Email customerservice@meetingmeals.com or call us at (763) 512-1212. Our phones are answered from 7:00 am to 6 pm. Emails are responded to from 7 am to 5:00 pm. We will juggle plates around to make things happen for you. That's right. Plate-juggling-foodies. The best kind.

What if an order is late, or wrong?
A.
We hold our restaurants to high standards. If you receive an incorrect order, please let us know at (763) 512-1212 so we can not only fix the problem, but also ensure everyone gets top-notch, reliable delivered meals going forward.
Q.
Do you set up and take down?
A.
We do set up the food as far as you want us to set up. The food will come in disposable boxes or aluminum pans and there is no need for take down, you will just throw them away. Side note – due to MN Health Department Regulations, our drivers are not permitted to touch the actual food ‘outside the package’.
Q.
What’s the minimum number of people for company catering?
A.
It’s a $50 minimum food order for businesses and a $75 minimum food order for residential deliveries. If you’re ordering box lunches, it’s generally a minimum of 5 box lunches.

Wait, so you don’t make the food? How do you choose your restaurant partners?
A.
We're only interested in partnering with the best restaurants, caterers and private chefs. The crème de la crème of American, Chinese, Italian, Ice cream shops…you get it. We add new offerings continuously to ensure your meetings are never dull. The end result of this continuous search is a highly selective portfolio of the best food providers in the area.

How are you getting delivery from restaurants that don't normally deliver?
A.
Many chose to focus on what they do best: preparing and serving great food. They want a company like Creative Corporate Catering to focus on what we do best: market and deliver great food.

Can I request that a restaurant be added to your list?
A.
Absolutely! Just send us an email at customerservice@meetingmeals.com. We'll get in touch with the restaurant and see about getting them on board.
Q.
How do I buy Creative Corporate Catering gift certificates?
A.
Simply call one of our Customer Experience Managers and purchase the gift certificate over the phone. We will mail the gift certificate out the same day.
